Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519) was a Renaissance genius-famed for masterpieces like The Lady with an Ermine and The Last Supper, but also a prolific inventor in fields from flying machines to civil engineering. His wooden arch bridge design reflects deep understanding of structural forces and efficiency.

Unlike fixed fastened structures, da Vinci's bridge design uses the self-supporting arch principle: the more weight it carries, the stronger it becomes. Yet, if a single piece is removed, the structure collapses-demonstrating both its elegance and dependence on perfect assembly .

This is a scale model replica of Da Vinci's bridge. It uses interlocking plastic parts-no glue or paint needed-and snaps together following pictorial instructions.

Manufactured by Academy as part of their Da Vinci Machine Series.  It's molded in brown plastic to simulate a wooden look and includes three sprues plus a base.

This is classified as a beginner STEM model. The assembly process reinforces lessons on arch mechanics, weight distribution, and modular construction-ideal for educational display or hobbyist learning
