The SB2U Vindicator was an early US dive bomber capable of operating from aircraft carriers. It was introduced in 1937 and retired at the end of WWII. A total of 260 were built by the Vought corporation. Over its 7-year service, the Vindicator was used in multiple roles, starting with carrier-based scout bomber, then dive bomber, and finally as a trainer. This 1/48 scale kit includes PE, plastic and transparent parts for assembling the SB2U-3 bomber honoring the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway, with three decal options.
