<b>Stay always online and prevent data loss</b><br>An APC Smart-UPS On-Line always supplies perfectly clean power to all connected equipment thanks to its double conversion technology. Even power failures do not affect this. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically supplies emergency power without having to switch. This prevents unwanted failure of, for example, a PC, server, storage or switch. With the included Powershute Network Shutdown software, you can even have critical IT hardware shut down automatically and in a controlled manner. This prevents data loss, downtime and physical damage to hardware.<br><br><b>Extend the runtime</b><br>You can easily increase the number of minutes that the APC SRT8KRMXLI can independently supply emergency power by connecting external battery packs (SRT192RMBP2). A runtime of several hours is even possible.<br><br><b>Availability</b><br>The Smart-UPS On-Line has an internal bypass and uses double conversion, which increases the availability and lifespan of connected hardware.<br><br><b>Safety</b><br>In addition, a Smart-UPS On-Line protects connected devices against peak voltage caused by lightning, among other things. Thanks to the included 4-post rail kit, you can easily mount the UPS in a rack (6U).<br><br><b>Manage your Smart-UPS</b><br>Thanks to the integrated network card, you can easily connect the APC UPS to the network. This allows you to monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP) and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown software.<br><br><b>PowerChute Network Shutdown</b><br>PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS Network Management Card to protect Windows, Linux and Host ESXi, as well as hyperconverged and virtual infrastructure*. This without having to switch off the APC UPS or connected equipment. This way you can easily and cheaply extend the lifespan of the APC Smart-UPS and your equipment will always remain online.<br><br><b>Warranty extension</b><br>The factory warranty of the SRT8KRMXLI is 3 years, with the exception of the battery cartridge, which has a factory warranty of 2 years. Both are extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC service pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-06).<br><br><b>Switched Outlet Groups: Remote reboot and phased start-up</b><br>Thanks to the Switched Outlet Groups it is possible to configure a phased/delayed power-on per UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, which can limit oversizing of the UPS.<br><br>It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outlets and the equipment connected to them. If a network card (ap9640) is used in combination with Ecostruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this can even be done remotely.<br><br>You can also switch off non-critical loads; this extends the runtime for critical equipment.<br><br><br>This APC Smart-UPS is designed for IT professionals or network administrators to maintain business uptime and continuity. This 8kVA on-line 6U rackmount UPS provides pure sine wave power and extended runtime to support critical electronics during power disruptions. It comes with hard wire 3-wire(1P+N+E)/5-wire(3P+N+E) input, 6x IEC 320 C13, 4x IEC 320 C19 outlets, and 3x IEC jumper cables. The UPS has an embedded Network Management Card for UPS network-based monitoring and management. The UPS comes with PowerChute Network Shutdown that provides graceful shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and HCI clusters. It has an additional SmartSlot for optional accessory card such as Dry Contact I/O card. The UPS can connect to EcoStruxure IT or third-party centralized management platforms.
