Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Ready: ADM Prepared for Future Threats

ASUSTOR has officially upgraded ADM to support PQC Hybrid TLS encryption certified by the US NIST. This fully adopts the official version of the Kyber algorithm, X25519+ML-KEM 768, and in ADM 5.1 and later, is automatically enables this feature through TLS 1.3 without requiring any configuration. This protects against the Harvest Now, Decrypt Later threat. As long as your browser supports PQC, it will immediately establish a post-quantum cryptography (PQC) encrypted secure connection, and the connection status will be clearly displayed through the ADM interface, ensuring that data stored on your ASUSTOR NAS can withstand future quantum computer threats.

The sliding cover design found on the Drivestor Gen2 makes opening your NAS easy. The inner hard drive rails and outer cover all use thumb screws making hard drive installation simple and easy without tools.

Protected From Ransomware

The ASUSTOR NAS comes with the most up-to-date version of ADM to help protect against ransomware attacks. Snapshot Center provides the ability to efficiently create snapshots to protect and easily restore lost data from iSCSI volumes. Other security features found on the ASUSTOR NAS are the ability to create one or more replacement administrator accounts, a firewall by ADM Defender that features blacklists and whitelists, the ability to change default ports, disable SSH and Terminal to prevent remote attacks.

DataSync Center

DataSync Center combines multiple cloud services into a single app. DataSync Center includes, but is not limited to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Yandex and supports multitasking as well as multiple accounts.
