* All data was tested using a production model DJI Flip in a controlled environment. Actual experience may vary depending on the environment, usage, and firmware version.
** All videos and images on this page were shot in strict compliance with relevant local laws and regulations. Demos are for reference only. Always observe local laws and regulations and ensure the aircraft has obtained relevant certifications before flying.
*** All images, videos, and screen display contents about the product itself on this page are for reference only. Actual product effects (including but not limited to appearance, color, and size) and screen display contents (including but not limited to backgrounds, UI, and illustrations) may vary.
1. Palm takeoff requires subject confirmation. When using palm takeoff, adhere to the following guidelines: operate in a windless environment as much as possible; hold the sides of the aircraft body from below with the camera facing the subject; make sure that your hand does not block the camera and that there are no obstacles obstructing the takeoff; avoid finger contact with the propellers to prevent injury; do not attempt to grab the drone while it is flying.
2. Automatic braking is supported only when flying in the Normal mode and Cine mode and during return-to-home. Intelligent functions (including Subject Tracking) do not support obstacle avoidance. If you use palm takeoff, the DJI Fly app, or a remote controller, the aircraft will only decelerate and automatically brake when it detects an obstacle within 1 meter ahead. The aircraft can perform an emergency brake if the following speed is less than 3m/s. However, if the follow speed is 3 m/s or faster, the braking distance may be insufficient, and the aircraft could collide with the obstacle. Please carefully observe your surroundings and use smart features in open areas.
3. Standard aircraft weight (including the Intelligent Flight Battery, propellers, and a microSD card). The actual product weight may vary due to differences in batch materials and external factors. Training or examination is not required for flying this product in most countries and regions. Always check local laws and regulations before use.
4. Measured at a constant speed of 21.6 kph in windless conditions. With the DJI Flip Intelligent Flight Battery, the aircraft can fly for up to 31 minutes.
5. As of January, 2025.
6. Some shooting modes require connecting DJI Flip to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and enabling them in the DJI Fly app.
7. Achieved with QBC (Quad Bayer Coding) techniques that combine four pixels into one. Not supported when shooting 48MP photos.
8. Supported when shooting 12MP photos only. Not supported when shooting 48MP photos.
9. Measured in an open outdoor environment without interference and with FCC compliance. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way, non-return flights. Always pay attention to RTH reminders in the DJI Fly app during your flight.
10. Accessory not included with the standalone unit, sold separately.
11. Parallel charging requires the DJI 65W Portable Charger or a charger with at least 65W output, 4.3A current at 15V, and PD protocol support, along with a charging cable rated for at least 5A and also supporting PD protocol. Otherwise, batteries will be charged individually.
12. Requires connecting DJI Flip to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
13. DJI Flip supports voice control in English and Mandarin only. The specific language used depends on the language setting of the DJI Fly app (English or Chinese).
