The Panasonic EYC215LJ2G57 18V Dual Voltage, 5.0Ah Li-ion battery Cordless Drill & Driver / Impact Driver Combo Kit combines lightweight bodies with extreme power. Both units feature precision variable speed control/reversible, high power brushless motor, plus LED light for user-friendly operation in dark areas, and an electric brake for added safety.

Extreme Durability

EY79A2 is equipped with a new brushless motor which helps make the tool last twice as long compared to tools with brush motors. Its new ultra-hard chuck jaw tips are brazed into each jaw giving extra strength and helping reduce wear. Plus, the new hybrid semi-electronic switch helps eliminate heavy friction to internal parts of the switch and it also allows for smoother operation.

New Ultra Hard Chuck Jaw Tips
We increased durability of every part right down to the new metal chuck which features tungsten carbide jaw tips. These extra hardened inserts are brazed into each jaw to give extra 'bite strength' and substantially reduce wear.

To eliminate heavy friction to internal parts of the switch during use of electric brake, we developed a new semi-electronic switch. This gives smoother operation and double* the life expectancy of the part.* Compared with Panasonic conventional switches.
