G.SKILL Aegis 16GB DDR4 Desktop RAM
Features
The Ideal Solution for Gaming PCs
Named after the powerful shield of Greek gods, Aegis symbolizes strength and power. This new addition of DDR4 memory to the AEGIS family of gaming memory is designed for upgraded performance and high stability on the latest PC gaming systems. Give the quality performance boost your gaming rig deserves, no matter the game. Whether it's FPS, RTS, MOBA, or MMORPG, let AEGIS Gaming DDR4 Memory be the strength of your gaming arsenal!

Designed for Gamers
Available from a standard starting speed of DDR4-2133, give the performance of your system a boost by increasing the amount of transfers per second. The new DDR4 memory is ready to go with compatible hardware technology, to ensure smooth gaming for the newest games.

Built for Quality
Built with the highest quality of hand-selected ICs and tested with G.SKILL's rigorous validation process on all major performance motherboard brands, the AEGIS Gaming DDR4 Memory is designed for the best compatibility and stability the widest selection of motherboards.

Power Efficient
Designed with a low voltage of 1.2V~1.35V at DDR4 standard, this lowers the memory voltage requirement by 20% from DDR3 memory kits! Now your system can perform even faster without becoming an expensive appliance heater.

Updating terminology - MHz and MT/s
RAM speeds were traditionally listed in MHz (e.g. DDR4 3200MHz or DDR5 6000MHz). Today, the industry standard is MT/s (mega transfers per second), so you'll now see speeds shown as DDR4 3200MT/s or DDR5 6000MT/s.
What does MT/s mean?
MT/s measures the number of data transfers a memory module can perform each second, making it a more accurate way to express RAM performance.
In practice, a module labelled 3200MHz is the same speed as 3200MT/s - only the terminology has changed.

| Additional Notes | Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.Prior to enabling XMP, memory kits will boot at the SPD speed at default BIOS settings with compatible hardware. For memory kits with XMP, enable XMP/DOCP/A-XMP profile in BIOS to reach up to the rated potential XMP overclock speed of the memory kit, subject to the use of compatible hardware. Enabling XMP is an act of overclocking and requires BIOS setting adjustments. Please refer to the "How to Enable XMP/EXPO" guide.Reaching the rated XMP overclock speed and system stability will depend on the compatibility and capability of the motherboard and CPU used. |
