The "Nuova 500" was produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975. It's a real icon on four wheels and one of the well-known symbols of the "made in Italy" genre. Its unique and recognizable design is famous all over the World.

When the 'small car' design was first thought of by the Italian car manufacturer, their goal was simple: to introduce a compact car to the market that featured a very affordable price. With the release of the classic Fiat 500, they more than reached this goal. After they obtained huge commercial success all over the world, Abarth produced several special versions that had unmistakable sport and racing paint jobs. One of these is was the FIAT Abarth 695SS.

In 1964 Abarth, a car manufacturer that first started as a racing team, presented two interesting versions using the Fiat Nuova 500 chassis and body: the 695 and the 695SS. Both versions were equipped with a 689 cm3 engine and were able to reach the max speed of 140 Km/h. In 1965 Abarth developed the Fiat 695SS Assetto Corsa with improved performances and features.
