Features

The Magewell Pro Capture Quad SDI is a high-performance PCIe capture card designed to simultaneously capture video from up to four SDI sources. This card is ideal for professional applications requiring multi-channel video capture, such as live broadcasting, video conferencing, and medical imaging.

Input and Output Interfaces

Equipped with four SD/HD/3G/2K SDI input interfaces, the Pro Capture Quad SDI supports video resolutions up to 2048×1080 pixels. The host interface utilizes PCIe Gen2 x4, ensuring high-speed data transfer and compatibility with a wide range of systems.

Advanced Video Processing Capabilities

The card features 10-bit video processing, offering functionalities such as deinterlacing, cropping, color adjustment, color space conversion, up/down conversion, aspect ratio conversion, and on-screen display (OSD). These capabilities allow for precise control over video quality and format, catering to diverse professional requirements.

Comprehensive Signal Detection and Support

The Pro Capture Quad SDI automatically detects input signal formats and supports time code and closed caption extraction. It accommodates various SDI standards, including SD, HD, 3Ga, 3Gb, 3Gb-DL, and 3Gb-DS, as well as 2K (2048×1080) modes. The card also supports RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2 color sampling, with 10/12-bit color depth, ensuring compatibility with a broad spectrum of video sources.

Software Compatibility and Development Support

Compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, the Pro Capture Quad SDI offers universal drivers and updatable firmware. It includes the Capture Express software and supports over 50 other applications, such as VLC, OBS, and vMix. For developers, Magewell provides SDKs for Windows, Linux, and Mac, facilitating integration into custom applications.

Additional Features and Reliability

The card supports multiple capture streams, low latency mode, and the use of multiple devices on one host. It is designed for continuous 24/7 operation, featuring high-speed memory, LED status indicators, and a rotary switch for easy configuration.
