Tamiya 58752 - TAMIYA 1/10 MERC 190E EVO II '91  (INCL ESC) TT-02

1/10 SCALE R/C MERCEDES-BENZ 190 E 2.5-16 EVO II 1991 (TT-02 CHASSIS)

This car took part in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991, and contributed to Mercedes-Benz' maker and team championship titles that year. Car number 8 is recreated by this radio control model assembly kit, with a polycarbonate body recreating the modified 4-door sedan form with front lip spoiler and overfenders. Separately molded, metal plated parts are used for the three-pointed star emblem on the bonnet, as well as the front grille. Stickers are included to decorate the body.

TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD

The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. Silver color dish design wheels use semi-pneumatic slick tires.

The long nose, short deck form is recreated in style by the polycarbonate body.

Metal-plated parts are used for the front grille and the bonnet three-pointed star emblem.

Side mirrors are separately molded plastic parts, with plated components for the mirror surfaces.

Stickers are used for the rear lights with wrap-around turn signals.

The rear wing is depicted by two parts.

Silver color dish wheels are paired with slick tires.

Sticker sheets are included to decorate the model.

Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.

Wheel hubs are shaped to look like brake discs.
