This model kit recreates the Nissan Skyline 2000 TURBO GT-E, which was originally released in 1981 as a motorized model. (Item24022). This time around, the kit has been updated with a new instruction manual, decals and packaging.

Nissan Skyline Sedan 2000

Among the models in the sixth generation Nissan Skyline series which made its debut in August 1981, the 2000 Turbo GT-E･S was a highly sporty version. With its neat wedge-shaped body, this car employed a 2-liter inline-6 turbo engine capable of 145hp and four-wheel independent suspension whose stiffness could be adjusted from the driver's position, the first time that such a system had ever been included in a mass production car. Disc brakes were installed on all four wheels. Its sophisticated styling and mechanism brought owners to the joy of driving this high-performance GT car.
