To keep development times short, the Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.J chassis was used, and paired with the L/70 7.5cm gun, which had enough firepower to take care of Allied contemporaries; a modified version of the Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) Lang turret was used to accomodate the longer piece. Around 270 were manufactured between August 1944 and March 1945, and put to work on both the Western and Eastern Fronts, and the Panzer IV/70(A) continued to provide valuable firepower even as the Allies pushed relentlessly toward victory.

- This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit.
