Tamiya 18104 MINI 4WD CROSS SPEAR 02 (VZ)

This assembly kit creates a stylish Mini 4WD car known as the Cross Spear 02. The one-of-a-kind compact, lightweight design with a smooth, lowdown look, its cockpit shifted forward, and side trellis sections is the brainchild of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki. It is based upon the compact race-focussed VZ chassis, with red Y-spoke wheels and super hard small diameter low-profile tires that minimize bounce after jumps.

The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.

The body is molded in sand yellow and takes design cues from the Cross Spear 01 such as body side trellis sections.

The VZ chassis is molded in metallic gray plastic, with A parts in light gray.
