Tamiya 18105 MINI 4WD GRASS HOPPER Jr. (VZ)

This assembly kit creates The Grasshopper Jr., an exciting Mini 4WD car that is based upon the legendary 1984 R/C car and 40-year Tamiya mainstay of the same name. The elegantly streamlined Grasshopper form looks great shrunk down to Mini 4WD car size, and its single seater buggy-inspired slimline form with foglamps is accented with a driver figure. Logos and numbers are included as stickers in the box, and the model runs on the compact VZ chassis.

The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.

Slim and angular, the body has separate fog lamp parts.

Decorate the slanting body with included stickers for the livery, logos and numbers.

Roller stays can be removed, and even replaced with an FRP stay as shown here.
