February 1989 saw the debut of the fourth generation model, whose pinnacle was the 300ZX. Also known, as the Z32, this car had an elegant, wide body with a removable glass top based around a \"T-bar\" frame; power was provided by a 280hp 3-liter V6 twin turbo engine in combination with either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic.
