It is backwards compatible to 3G and 2G therefore it is the universal choice when it comes to large scale connectivity upgrades for Industrial or Public infrastructure. It offers a long and stable lifecycle important for IIoT projects, because you can use conventional cellular technologies and enjoy more cost-efficient data plans using LTE Cat 1. TRM240 comes with a USB interface for power & communication, drivers supporting all relevant platforms and one SMA connector for an external antenna to obtain better signal coverage.
