Cerio POE-PE03GE-30W - PoE Injector Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ 30W Compact Size

The POE-PE03GE-30W is a passive type Gigabit PoE Injector bundle 30Watt Power supply. You can simultaneously transmit network data and power to PD powered network equipment through the RJ45 UTP cable. The simple connection provides a better solution for network devices for where the power source is not readily available.

The POE-PE03GE-30W is a cost effective solution for deploying Gigabit PoE Wireless Access Points or PoE IP Surveillance or PoE IP Phone in environments where the power source is not readily available or power cables are not permitted. In Gigabit Ethernet, four pairs of Cat5 or Cat5E twisted pairs are used as the medium for transmission. The actual data transmission only takes up two pairs of wires (pairs 1-2 and 3-6). The PoE technology utilizes the remaining pairs (pairs 4-5 and 7-8) to conduct electricity. The output power will be dependent on the power rating of the power supply that one chooses to use. This helps to reduce number of wires that lead up to tower and others.
