Features

16GB 2Rx8 2G x 64-Bit PC4-3200 CL22 288-Pin DIMM

This document describes ValueRAM's KVR32N22D8/16 is a 2G x 64-bit (16GB) DDR4-3200 CL22 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM), 2Rx8, memory module, based on sixteen 1G x 8-bit FBGA components. The SPD is programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR4-3200 timing of 22-22-22 at 1.2V. Each 288-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers.

- Power Supply: VDD = 1.2V Typical

- On-board 12 serial presence-detect (SPD) EEPROM
- 16 internal banks; 4 groups of 4 banks each
- Fixed burst chop (BC) of 4 and burst length (BL) of 8 via the mode register set (MRS)
- Selectable BC4 or BL8 on-the-fly (OTF)
- Fly-by topology
- Terminated control command and address bus
- PCB: Height 1.23" (31.25mm)

RAM speeds were traditionally listed in MHz (e.g. DDR4 3200MHz or DDR5 6000MHz). Today, the industry standard is MT/s (megatransfers per second), so you'll now see speeds shown as DDR4 3200MT/s or DDR5 6000MT/s.

What does MT/s mean?

MT/s measures the number of data transfers a memory module can perform each second, making it a more accurate way to express RAM performance.

In practice, a module labelled 3200MHz is the same speed as 3200MT/s - only the terminology has changed.
